Navigating University Life: Mental Health Support in Leeds for Students

Starting university is an exciting time, but it can also bring new challenges. Whether it’s the pressure of managing your coursework, adjusting to a new routine, or finding your place in a new environment, taking care of your mental health is crucial. Fortunately, Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS) offers a variety of resources to support students through these transitions.

Workshops for Key Issues

LMWS provides one-hour workshops on a range of topics that address common student concerns, such as:

  • Sleep issues
  • Managing stress and worry
  • Thought patterns linked to low mood

These workshops are perfect for those just starting university and encountering these challenges for the first time. They offer a quick yet effective way to address these key issues, which are often the root of further mental health struggles.
