Your guide to Kirkstall

Very popular for professional rentals, post-grads and families, Kirkstall has lots to offer including good shopping, great local pubs and some excellent independent restaurants.

The range of houses and flats in Kirkstall also give great transport options with two train stations (including the recently constructed Kirkstall Forge station) and one of the main routes in and out of the city.

The close proximity to Kirkstall Abbey is a big bonus for those (occasional!) lovely summer days and offers a great spot for a stroll, picnic or the chance to see some of the pop up events that appear in the grounds throughout the year. Dropping down onto the canal path, you can have one of the best commutes into the city or head in the other direction and cycle or jog all the way to Liverpool!

Accommodation in Kirkstall gives you plenty of options and a little bit of everything; smaller terrace properties with big rooms often appeal to professional renters and sharers but there is also a growing number of luxury flats to rent in Kirkstall that have sprung up over recent years.

With a couple of retail parks and plenty of shopping and leisure options, you don’t have to go too far for some light entertainment. Kirktall also offers some excellent local pubs and enough excellent restaurants and cafes to keep your taste buds entertained.
