Do You Want It All? Then Try Our Bills Inclusive Packages!

We're not alone in offering a Bills Inclusive option for our tenants, but we've spent lots of time putting together a range of packages to suit all tastes and budgets and have carefully sourced products and suppliers that we feel make Sugarhouse's packages unique. We can currently offer the following products as extra services to be bolted onto your rent;

Better Services, Better For the Environment; A Closer Look At Our Providers:

Green Energy

After Pink, Green is definitely our favourite colour and we're committed to making Sugarhouse as environmentally responsible as we can. From July 2016, we've made sure that our energy is as green as we can possibly make it with our electricity 100% green (primarily from wind farms but also from the sun and sea) and with the lowest carbon emissions in the UK.

Gas is a bit more difficult, but at least 5% of our gas will be green and we hope that this will steadily increase in the future. Our green gas is created by a process using grass called Anaerobic Digestion; the grass decomposes with bacteria to produce biogas that is purified into biomethane and fed straight into the national grid. All of our Green Gas is Frack Free.

Water

We don't have much choice with this one, so it's good old Yorkshire Water for us! However, we take care of any readings, organise all billing and help sort any problems that may arise.

Contents Insurance

We've selected the NUS approved insurance provider, Endsleigh (who are also used by Unipol and a number of University Providers including the University of Leeds) to provide our contents insurance. This means that not only is our cover equivalent to that provided by many of the Universities themselves but we also offer up to £6,000 of cover and, unlike many other policies, we include cover for electrical items (including laptops and mobile phones) whilst in the home as well as photography and musical equipment. Broadband

Where available, our broadband will be provided by Virgin's Vivid Product at up to 100MB. This product offers unlimited downloads, has fast music downloads, is great for streaming movies and also excellent for gaming. USWITCH voted Vivid as the best customer rated broadband in 2016 and it is on average 8 times faster than Sky and BT's regular broadband. Where Vivid is unavailable, we'll do our best to find an alternative that still has sufficient speed to cope with your demands.

TV License

We can also organise your TV license for you. Please remember, that if you don't organise a Bills Inclusive package through Sugarhouse you will still need a TV license even if you are only watching streamed content (including watching programs via Netflix or even YouTube). We offer one TV license per property for communal areas where included.

Netflix

Our Gold and Pink packages now include a Netflix Premium account for the whole house which means you can watch 1000's of films and TV shows on up to 4 screens at any one time.

Amazon Fire

As part of our Gold and Pink Packages you also get an Amazon Fire TV stick thrown in, to help you stream live content to your TV.

Cleaner

Also exclusively for our Pink Package recipients, we provide your own personal cleaner for all communal areas twice a month to help keep your property looking spic and span!

Coffee Machine

And finally, we're even making breakfast for you! Those of you choosing our Pink Package also get a coffee machine supplied in the property to help ease you into the day.
